Start of term – Saturday 13th April 2024
Deadline for Fees – Thursday 1st May 2024
Bank Holiday – Monday 6th May 2023 – Note due to exams, the 5.30pm acrobatic class will be as normal (5.30-6.15pm), and the Grade 7 ballet class will be 6.15pm-7.00pm. Stage Class and intermediate will not be running.
Saturday 18th May – Exam Fees deadline 2024
Monday 20th May – Acrobatics class to run 6.00-6.45pm, no stage class, Intermediate ballet and Grade 7 ballet as normal.
Tuesday 21st May – No Silver Swans, no Junior Ballet classes (4.00, 4.30, 5.15pm see note below. Grade 5 ballet and Adult Ballet as normal.
Thursday 23rd May – Deadline for all exam fees and entry forms
Half Term – Friday 24th May – Friday 31st May 2024 inclusive
Saturday 8th June – Rescheduled Ballet Classes from Tuesday 21st May (see note below) (Tuesday 4pm class at 3.00pm; 4.30pm class at 3.30-4.15pm)
Saturday 15th June - Rescheduled Ballet Classes from Tuesday 21st May (see note below) (Tuesday 5.15pm class at 3.00pm-3.45pm)
Saturday 22nd June – Grade 7 RAD Ballet exam recording 1pm, and possible Grade 3 RAD Ballet exam recording 3pm
Wednesday 26th June – Grade 8 RAD Ballet exam recording 7pm
Saturday 29th June – Avonway Open Day – Stage Class performing, times TBC
Lower Grades Awards/Exams – Sunday 30th June 2024 followed by recording of Grade 5 RAD Ballet exam TBC
Thursday 4th July - Grade 7 ballet Monday, Advanced Foundation Tap/Modern Saturday, Grade 8 Ballet and Senior modern/tap Wednesday all finish for the summer
Saturday 6th July – Grade 2 RAD ballet exam recording from 1pm TBC
Last day of term – Saturday 13th July 2024 (Grade 7 ballet, Advanced Foundation Tap/Modern, Grade 8 Ballet and Senior modern/tap will finish from the 4th July)
The deadline for not returning for the Autumn term 2024 is Saturday 13th July 2024.
We are planning to return on Saturday 7th September 2024. Our provisional date for Medals at The Hub is Sunday 23rd March 2025, and the Pantoon at Ibsley is 9th February 2025.
Please note there are some changes to classes this term on specific dates.
On Monday 20th May, classes will start at 6.00pm, so Acrobatics will be 45 minutes later that evening. There will be no Stage Class, but all other classes will stay the same.
On Tuesday 21st May, classes will start at 6.00pm (Grade 5 and Adult ballet are unchanged). This means there will be no Silver Swans, and no junior ballet classes that day as there will be no classes between 3.15-5.50pm. These are being rescheduled to;
· Saturday 8th June - 3pm-3.30pm (4pm Primary class),
· Saturday 8th June - 3.30pm-4.15pm (4.30pm Intro to Grade 1 class)
· Saturday 15th June - 3.00pm-3.45pm (5pm Grade 2 class)
